Kathmandu: Chairman of the NCP Dahal-Nepal Group, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, has heartily welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Chairman Dahal who is currently in Chitwan together with another Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on Tuesday commented, “The SC verdict is the victory of entire Nepali people.”
He thanked all Nepalis, party leaders and cadres, media persons and legal practitioners who advocated for the reinstatement of HoR.
The former prime minister further said, “We now move ahead forging consensus, and it is not for power but for protection of constitution, people’s rights and democracy.”
He also informed that the party assembly in Chitwan scheduled for Wednesday would be turned into the victory programme. (RSS)
